Prince mentioned in liner notes of 70s Compilation

Prince was mentioned in the liner notes of 70s compilation "Super Hits of the 70's" released by Rhino Records. The liner notes expresses the opinion that the song "Every 1's A winner" by the group Hot Chocolate may have inspired a certain debut artist in 1978. Here is the segment that mentions Prince

"Hot Chocolate landed it's third and final Top 10 hit in early 1978 with "Every 1's A Winner." The song's teasing vocal style, hybrid rock/pop/soul sound and distinctive numerical title may have influenced a 20-year-old newcomer who simultaneously made his debut--Prince."
