I went to see Santana last night in D.C. and the ushers told me there was a 50/50 chance that Prince would show up since Santana showed up at Prince's concert the night before. He never showed but Santana had very nice things to say about Prince and Michael Jordan at one point during the show. I can't recall what he said exactly but it was something about being in the presence of greatness.

the wild part is that MJ effed up his knee beyond repair at the Sunday Prince show. He was breakin' like a champ during "Take Me With U" - dancing with Chuck Brown on one shoulder, Carlos on the other - then did a split in the aisle and...*POP*!

Is that true about Michael Jordon doing his knee in at the Prince concert?

Actually - just to set the record straight - Prince WAS there at that show - as was Manuella, Renato, Thonda, Greg, and security guy, Tevor. They stood at stage left - hidden from most everyone's view.

Larry & Tina Graham sat at the soundboard at the other end of the floor for most of the show.

Prince did NOT perform unfortunately - but still cool to see he was there & also exolains why they did not add that rumored 4th show in DC on 4/1.
