Rainbow Children gets official Australian Release

Hi,
I work in a shop in Sydney, and I came across a Shock Records New Release sheet for new releases dated week commencing April 1st 2002, and sure enough, It lists "Rainbow Children", which is a bummer for fams (who have this CD already from download or Import), however, this is a great way to re introduce Prince back into Australia.

The new release sheet gives it a glowing review.
It states marketing will include street press ads, Glossy magazine ads, Avant card distribution and "An extensive promotional schedule will see this album reviewed in all forms of magazines and papers".

{{{Shock handled the NPG "Exodus" distribution in Australia, which they done a great job, (pushing "The Good Life" into the Australian top 10), so let's see how they go with this CD.}}}

For those that want tech details, the CD number will be-
CD:CTX149CD
APN (Australian Product Number)
APN:5021456109807

Go to http://www.shock.com.au and click the NEWS section and scroll down to "Rainbow Children"

In stores in Australia April 2nd

Gee, six months later....doesn't take long a?

I am glad though because it is an album that deserves to be heard.

Now Heres an idea. Prince could release an album, and at least 1 single of that album, have a record label such as Shock market and distribue the album, and maybe Prince can once again be taken seriously like he should be. Because as much as us hardcore fans dont like to admit it, Prince at the moment is seen as nothing more than a freak pumping out loads of substandard shit albums.

I hope it gets well reviewed and sells a few copies so that he tours here.

I'll post any reviews I see.
When I read about the evils of drinking, I gave up reading.
