This should be really interesting.
I'm really not good at these situations..... first come first serve. Like most of you mention even though you might be fourth in line it always seems to be 25th in line by the time everyone says their What's up and then cutting. I hope they find a way to seat us with assigned seats because people are always thinking theyre better than others and push their way to the front. What's really amazing is the fact that we all learned how to stand in a solid straight line since grade school but seemed to forget what a straight line is. This is going to be a mess because of the aggressive folks out there. I can see the attitudes flying now. Pulling out my Attitude suit in preparing for the buttholes out there. Your (((((hug))))) for the day!!! Much Love, LoLinex Faith

XxAxX said: yeah i've had the not-so-great experience of being pushed and shoved aside at concerts too. i figure, it means the most violent and insane fans are going to be nearest the stage, so i make it a point to hang in the back. music usually sounds better in the back anyway
Yes, and time is money, so you can add the cost of the added time waiting in line to the cost of your tickets. I bought tix for Louisville through the Ticketmaster presale and was in the third row...no problem for me. I hate the thought of general admission and having to arrive so early and have people run past me and almost trample each other to get a good seat. They should only let people in 5 or 10 at a time, but I doubt they'll do this. I guess Ticketmaster is so corrupt that they had to bypass it and sell the tix directly which is great, but I wish they could get around this general admission thing somehow and use assigned seating.

CENTRAL TIME!
Thats why the tickets aren't on the site. We Atlantans must believe the world is on our time. The tickets go on sale at 10am Central Time. I didn't see the CT after the 10. I figured it meant "Chas Time." It could happen. So if his server crashed before the tickets were up there, I hate to see what'll happen when they're finally put up there. We'll see.

"thank u 4 supporting this experiment in truth" Well, I think we believe it is worth the hassle or we wouldn't be doing it. But the point is that it's best to avoid "hassling" your fans/customers if possible.

I'm having no problems with pages loading, but I don't see the tickets for sale anywhere in the members retail section. Anyone else see them?

Ok, now the site is jammed. Well, no big deal if they have enough presale seats for everyone. I won't be happy though if the presale "sells out" before I can get the tix I paid for with my membership.

exactly the same thing happened to me... It worked for me. Did anyone else notice a $19.50 shipping charge??? Where are they sending it from? Bora Bora? Last time I checked, a stamp only cost 34 cents! Its good to know after I spend $375 that they need that extra $19.50 from me. Love Or Money? Whats it gonna be now?

All the passes are "Will Call" as I understand it. I think that's probably the Ticketmaster charge that they are still charging us.

Well, you are having more luck than I am. I can't even get the retail section to load without crashing. I haven't seen the link to buy the tickets yet.

Got em! Wasn't easy though. What I did was keep adding every page that loaded successfully in2 my "Favorites" menu, so I only had 2 go back there to continue in the event of a crash. Stay with it, It'll work, though I have to admit I was nervous at the end, because there's really no exit button or anything. I HOPE the process was complete. Anybody know? "Checkout Counter" with the item #'s and total $ is it right?
Good luck. Now I am broke.

question to whoever has gotten this thing to work... when you get to the screen with the calculated cost and the "standard or air mail" option.. what did you do next... because there is no finish checkout button or anything like that on my browser Mr. Ellis Dee-licious, the Official NPGigolo

Well, I'm making progress. I have finally have the little buggers in my cart, but I can't seem to get the site to close the deal and let me pay for them. I don't know if the Check-out counter is the final screen. I haven't gotten far enough to enter my credit card yet.
I haven't heard about them assigning the seats at random...I heard it was general admission. Assigning the seats at randomly would be ok IF it told you what your seat #s were before paying for them.

i remember going to a prince gig in louisville back in 1997 that was general admission. it was chaos and confusion. people were pushing and shoving the whole time. it was packed so tight and the heat was unbearable.
i wonder how many orders will go unfilled at the music club for these passes. they always seem to find a way to screw things up. just my two cents.....
