what actually means "feeling" and "living" black? Why can't he feel with blacks who are poor and treated poorly? Just because he is not?
+++++ Why now? why did this not bother him till now? this doesnt meld with the religion. God wants us to forgive to be set free. you know, we really dont know 100% what he's trying to say, or why. maybe HE doesnt. it's time he tells us. this is drainng on people discussing these 2 issues day in and out. does he like to see us at each other all the time????i think we should try to ignore his stuff, but then the persons in the audience picked to be guinea pigs for his examples CANT ignore it. i'd be mad if i were chosen. blacks have come along way since abe lincoln was our leader. what is his point? if he has one,it doesnt matter to most people now. and to the rest its upsetting. +++++ we have history classes for this. we have churches for that matter if we want to learn a certain religion. who makes prince an authority on this? he's a great musician, not God. if he wants to be entertaining, i think he chose the wrong topics, however, actually TAKING PEOPLE OUT OF THE AUDIENCE IS EMBARRASING THEM. cant he just make his point without using people? how about using his band???? KEEP IT ON STAGE!!! LEAVE US OUT OF IT. +++++
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses

When I said "hateful and strained race relations" I was being sacrastic. The whole point was that he was almost too busy cracking up over my last name of baker and the fact that I told him that I couldn't even make hot pockets. If he was so "serious" I really doubt that he would have found the humor in my responces to his questions at such a time of "gravity". Are we all on the same page now?

I could not care less what Prince says on stage, as long as I am there, close to the stage and he is knocking us dead it is worth the money. As someone else mentioned, Prince is a musician. He is not a politician or thealogian. His views are just that and as long as he does not let it get completely out of control I have no problem hearing the man out in exchange hearing him play. I may not always agree with his delivery, but the man normally makes some valid points which forces me to expand my take on the world.
