Don't take too much offense to this, because I've heard him say before he likes Prince, and he does this with everyone he mentions, but {{{Mike Bullard (host of Canada's only successful late night talk show, Open Mike with Mike Bullard), spent a while in his monologue talking about Prince's moving to Canada.}}} Here are a couple of the things he mentioned.

1) Remember Prince, to help you out, Garbage day is on Tuesdays, recycling goes in the blue bin, and your last four albums go straight into the can.

2) He then mentioned that he actually is glad that Prince moved into town, and he'll even let him sit on his shoulders for the St. Patrick's Day parade.

No one laughed at this, so he blamed it on people not knowing celebrities' heights.

3) Finally, he mentioned that Toronto finally has an eccentric million-aire, oh wait, make that two. Sorry Mel Lastman

(Mel Lastman is the nut-job for a mayor Toronto has, and he does the stupidest things, like welcoming a gang of Hell's Angels into his city)

Now, I know this isn't funny stuff, and I also know that you are gonna say, lame news post, but I know if David Letterman blurted out some lame-ass jokes you'd post it, so I think this is as relevant. Well, maybe not as relevant, but relevant nonetheless, as this guy for some reason nets around 1 million viewers per night.

Other note, I've heard it mentioned on a breakfast show, a newschannel, the radio, and the paper where I live as well. All in one day, it's more mentions than I've heard of him in the past 3 months.

I just wanna say to all the people at the Org that created this new site .... Great Job!! the new site is really cool!!

I'm from Toronto and I was one of the many Torontonians at the show in Buffalo last night...and Prince gave a BIG props to Toronto fans. He said..."I love Toronto" and smiled. As for Mike Bullard, don't waste your breath on him. He needs some decent material to talk about and of course, our man Prince is just that. Bullard's show is the equivalent of a small U.S. Cable talk show produced out of someone's basement! Not to to worry...Oh ya, All you Toronto fans in the house...the Royal one is one his way to live with us!!!!

he was very kind of toronto, i was a bit embarrassed at the soundcheck as i may have been the only club member from buffalo, everyone was from out of town, including a bunch of toronto fams. he laughed at that thought, and said how much he likes 2 play in toronto, and like 2 time it around the many festivals they have 2 offer. on the plus side, he was thoroughly pleased with shea's, not only the beauty of the historic theatre, but the amazing acoustics. the classy club 4 the aftershow was attached 2 the building w/ made everything very convenient(ani difranco has played this club numerous times) and prince seemed 2 enjoy everything it had 2 offer.....more on the show later.....

Bullard's show is dying a slow and painful death. He won't be renewed next season. Man he is uuuuu-gly and I don't find him the least bit funny no matter what his schtick.
