where is Tamara from Tamara and the seen?

wondering if anyone knows what happened to the group, Tamara and the Seen? They were discovered by Jesse Johnson during the height of his solo career and had an album with funky singles such as "Everybody Dance" and "Affections." Did they have any additional albums and if so, how was it and where might i be able to get a copy?

You do know that "Tamara" is actually Margie Cox,who recorded the song "Standing At The Altar" with Prince? A solo album was planned on NPG Records in the mid-90s,but it never materialzed.Tamara and The Seen released a second album in 1988 titled 'Blueberry Gossip',and it was also produced by Jesse Johnson.Check Ebay or a used record store.

Actually, Tamara (or Margie Cox as said below), is in a supermarket doing some shopping at the moment. She realized she had no salt anymore & since that would have been awful 2 eat her noodles without salt, she decided 2 go buy some. When she gets outta the supermarket she will go home, eat, take a shower & try 2 sleep after a quick masturbation (yeah, she IS like that).

I still wonder why y'all want 2 know what Prince 4mer associates r doing at ONE particular moment... but since i can b of some help...

i didn't take it as "at the moment". just wondering where someone is who you may have liked....i don't think anything wrong with it. i am glad i know where to catch someone who can sing her ass off. and why not be interested in what former associates are.

dang why trip anyway. just don't answer it if you don't agree with it.

gosh i am tired of people putting others down for their own things. if someone is interested than let them be.

you must have an interest you come here.

sorry but i know Margret and the whole masturbation thing that is so uncalled for and a hint of sarcasm is not needed. are you mad someone had some knowledge on the subject or what?

cry cry cry err

Y do u have 2 b so serious, Endeara ?!

1st, i was talking 2 Everlastingnow & not 2 "u"

2nd, what on earth do u have against masturbation ?!!!

PS: Despite i think here artistic choices were often poor (Both her work with Prince & Jesse isn't the best MPLS sound ever), i respect her very much as the very good singer & very cute woman she both is.

By the way, what an original name you've chosen.

She did another album. I can't think of the name of the album but she had a song called "Blueberry Gossip" and she remade "Everyday People" by Sly and the Family Stone. The album was OK but I like the first one MUCH better.

I don't know what she's doing now. I haven't heard from her since.

Margaret Cox's new CD is called "Margie's Little Demo".
If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
