Teena Marie's new album LaDonna it is a great album, probably her best in years. She uses a couple lines from the beautiful ones on a song called black rain. I definetly recommend the album save your money from that awful Morris Day album and buy this one , it is a sure winner.

Teena's been a Prince fan for years.During some concerts,she even sings the first verse of "Sexy Dancer".She toured with Prince in 1980 and that's how Prince met Jill Jones.She was one of Teena's backup singers.There's even a persistent rumor that Prince secretly wrote Teena's 1986 hit "Lips To Find You".

Yeah i know she is a big Prince fan, i have a live track of her doing lovergirl and she mixes in i wanner be your lover.

Teena is so awesome.
