is it really so hard to believe or think maybe he just saw her somewhere like any other relationship starts and they started a convo and just clicked or when you do work for someone you do start to hang around them ya know especially being an assistant and all... i mean they just met it happened and it can. i really don't think being a fan or not makes a difference she didn't make him buy her a ring and propose or get married you can't make that man do anything (i would suppose) anyway i just think it to be so distorted as some are making it . he wouldn't marry someone he hated or thought wierd of i mean really think about it. who would you all see him married to? wouldn't anyone find fault in whomever. what if it was you in those shoes....it isn't an impossible thing. and even so ... so she did it right i mean dang he loves her that is the bottom line. no offense to anyone....just a thought. Well, what's weird about it is the way Mani was willing to be part of what broke up prince and Mayte's marriage. Not all women are that tacky, and her willingness to be the way she was does seem to indicate a certain, shall we say, 'dedication' on Mani's part. )
But even weirder than that is how Prince chooses women half his age, makes sure they're utterly dependent upon him as his employees, trains them in like little puppies for a few years and then marries them. He did it with Mayte and he's done it again with Mani. That's not love, that's control. That's not meeting and loving someone for who they are, that's finding someone who fits a particular fantasy and trimming off their personality edges until they fit the mold. I wonder whether Prince would be able to have a normal relationship with a normal (non-stalker/obsessed fan) woman? A woman who's actually worked to have her own direction in life, who isn't employed at Paisley Park and who has enough self-respect not to surrender control over her own life? Hopefully, Mani and Prince will work out.
