Tyka Nelson - Royal Blue

Anybody know if this is rare and how much it is worth?

I just picked up a used vinyl copy for $5.

Haven't listened to it yet...any thoughts on it as an album?

I'm hoping I've snatched a bargain!

Yes, it's probably a bargain John smile

Let's hope your vinyl copy isn't scratched. You can get 'Royal Blue' on CD without much hassle here in the UK.

As a vocalist, Tyka Nelson is left dead in the dust by thousands of far superior soul sirens.

I only heard the album once, and recall that just one song ('Paris') made something of an impression.

No, it's not scratched. It's in great condition.

Pity the album is really crap.

I couldn't bear to listen past the first song...I mean, I skipped around and listened to parts of others, but yeah...she's no great singer and the music is pretty dreadful. There's nothing Princey about it, except she thanks him in the credits.
