I don't think he is boring to watch at all. I think he's quite an engaging performer especially on bass. His vocals do nothing for me but that's my taste. His playing on Slys tracks is amazing and the two Graham Central Station albums I have are classic funk. if you've gotta pay for things that you've done wrong I've gotta big bill coming at the end of the day- Gil Scott Heron

I dont know if he is dull to watch these days, but I have mad respect for the man who practically invented the pop-and-slap bass guitar style.

I'm taking nothing away from larrys bass playing (he's great). but he should stay in the background on stage. very boring when he starts singing the christ. he was very boring to watch and listen to on vibe (just kept going on). solo stuff boring. "one in a million" would of sound so much better if performed by al green.

"One In A Million" sucks ass...I think that song alone keeps him from being cool. That and the taking his shoes off and clapping them on stage w/Prince, the stupid cowboy hats, his cornball wife, his cornball wife who blows kisses to the audience, and his black tom selleck moustache. Larry is the Hendrix of bass, but a shit frontman. Nero
