MARTIKA's KITCHEN Recently, I purchased "Martika's Kitchen"... and felt the following:
This Cd makes me feel very happy due to the fact that MARTIKA sings in PURE FORM... now this has to do with the fact that Prince Rogers Nelson works with "simply the best" and/or he Manicures the TALENT of everyone he comes in contact with. I am curious if MARTIKA could work with Prince Rogers Nelson again, since so many people from the 80's are bringing forth HAPPINEST(s) again... to which LIGHT allways concurs EVIL. (read again, if need be on the LIGHT/DARK aphrodesia)... "Love they will be done" xceptional - by Prince Rogers Nelson "Spirit" xceptional - by Prince Rogers Nelson (MayB he can play this on his TOUR This is seriously Nice.) Just what are your feelings on this... Prince, literally could work with so many people who have not been in his centrifugal source for a while...Instead of all this BAD MEDIA... MUD slinging going on with TV. (TURN THE BEAST OFF aka TV) I don't know about U but the 80's brought forth some amazing ENERGY into this world.. including alot of GREAT FUN and LOVING times. There is PEACE we just have to dig for the GERMINATING SEED WITHIN the KINGDOM within us all..."LOVE". GODBLISS SingMia

No need to be so formal. You can just call him Prince if you want. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

i'd cry if he played "Love Thy Will Be Done" serisouly. That song touches my heart so so much. It's better than Sometimes It Snows..on the tour.
I loved those songs on Martika album. I really also liked "Coloured Kisses" and "Magical Place" them were my jams. "if i could lay..my head on your shoulder..and pray! hey! what else can do?!" Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

"Love, they will be done" Ricco, I thought you were the lyrics champion... Even a lightweight like me knows it's LOVE, THY WILL B DONE... Extreme jam take 1... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Yep, I love that album too! Though her best song was "Toy soldiers", a song that has never been heard since it's release!
Prince tries to copy "If your tarzan, I'm Jane" on the first track, but the former is better! I like "Love thy will be done" but my fav is "Safe in the arms of love", a non-prince track, but apparantly inspired by a Prince track 4 Martika called "open book"! Anyone heard the boot? Also the very average "Don't say u love me" was originally intended 4 Paula abdul. but I guess Paula wanted something better and more complex so he gave her the odd pop track "U" 4 her Spellbound album in 1991 which is alot better! I guess maybe Prince was returning the favour 4 her as it looks like "Batdance" was choreographed by Paula! What ya think? Anyway, that album has surprisenly little,if any filler expect last track!

I really, really got into the title song when it came out.
"...come on and get some, in Martika's Kitchen baby...!" By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory!
