05/10/04 - Sheila E. appears on new albums by Patti LaBelle and Prince

Sheila E. appears as featured percussionist on the song "When You Smile", inspired by Celia Cruz, which also features Carlos Santana, La India & Andy Vargas on Patti LaBelle's newest CD release "Timeless Journey", as well as "Dear Mr. Man" on Prince's new album "Musicology".

Why didn't Prince marry Sheila? She got a body from the far side of heaven. Little skinny Mani don't compare.

I just wish everyone would stop ripping Mani. Obviously, that's what Prince likes. That's why he married HER! You marry who you want and don't try to live vicariously thru Prince. Mani is skinny Prince must dig skinny right now. Congrats to them!

Listen. Eye am almost 17 yrs. old. Eye've had an amazing crush on Sheila since SOTT. Oddly enough, the crush is still goin strong, and now that eye'm a more mature musician eye recognize her extreme talent. She remains 1 of my favorite artists of all time. And....if eye could have her 4 just 1 night...well...U do the math.

P.S. Did U C her on "Divas"? If she looked like a man, than eye'm @*&%ing Larry Graham!

trust....those of us from the bay area know sheila did drugs...she's past it now and doing well with her children's foundation and music...at least she should get high props 4 her staying power and conquering the old bad stuff.

Sheila is gorgeous. I'd love to see what some of you heart throbs look like.

I'm not surprised Sheila is on this album. I think she must be a beautiful person and she is very talented. I love seeing her on the same stage as Prince even after all these years. She is one of the very few people that seems to always stick around. I think that is a true testament to her patience and understanding. That or she is a glutton for punishment!
