The Girls?

I was wondering about The Girls (Andre Cymone's protegees):
Was their album ever released on cd?
And where are they now?
If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

that wasn't the same group the Gyrlz who came out in 88 with Teri & Monica, who I believe might have been signed to uptown/MCA and were affiliated with Al B. Sure is it?

I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there.
I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish.

No, the one I'm talking about released their album in 1984 and were with Columbia

We were discussing The Girls in the Andre Cymone thread earlier. Someone said they had transferred the album onto CD. I doubt an obscure LP like that was ever commecially released on CD.

I've also been looking for "The Girls" album. I bought it when it came out, as I did anything Prince or Andre related in those days, but it was part of a group of albums that someone stole when I was an undergraduate. I miss it, I have to say. Has it been showing up on used record racks? I've had no luck.
