dont know what he really is up to. But the last he was here, i spotted him at Jazzmines. (a jazz club downtown minneapolis) when his Mom passed away or when she was ill right before she passed. that was the last time i saw him. dont think he has come out with anything new but i would check around for the old stuff.

What does "The Girls" album sound like? My friend had a copy way back when, but all I can remember are the tracks "S-E-S-E-X" (the first single I think) and "Nu Boy" which had a more new wave sound--kind of like "Bite The Beat." Has anyone else heard it?

Andre did a lot of production work for artists you wouldn't normally think of. Like Pebbles, James Ingram, Adam Ant and Pretty Poison.

The late Jermaine Stewart too.

Andre in the 80's worked on whole albums with Jody watley-producing,arranging,playing,writing 4 her! Her "Larger than life" album in late 80's was seriously good pop/funk! Very edgy and very cool!
This dude was talened 4 sure! Didn't Prince live with Andre's family when they were both teenagers (as those 2 were good mates)? Surely Prince would of been at the funeral too right?
