HEY, what are your favourite songs that Prince has written for other artists! I know there are loads, but heres a few of mine.....

1) "Round and round"-Tevin Campbell (a pop song tour de force)
2)"The sex of it"- Kid creole (why this wasn't given to the Time's "Pandimonium" or "Graffitti bridge" sessions is beyond me!)
3)"Halls of desire"-Tevin Campbell- lovely sounding song, happy sounding, cute chorus!
4)"Girl o' my dreams"-Tc Ellis (Please don't shoot me!)
5) The Times stuff (too many to mention)
6) "High fashion"-the family
7)"Call the law"-NPG
8)"Go go dancer"-Carmen Electra
9)"Love thy will be done"-Martika

I'm sure I'm missing some stuff, so I may come back!

Definitely 101 (Uptown Version). I'm sure he wrote it for himself, but it ended being Sheena Easton singing it. :

Also, I'm quite fond of Vanity 6 and Apollonia 6.

Ain't No Place Like You would have been great if sung by Chaka Khan, who's Sticky Wicked and Come 2 My House-album I'm also quite fond of.

And Mavis Staples' Time Waits For No One-album is quite loverly, too.

And you're quite right, Love... Thy Will Be Done with Martika is a deee-loverly song.

Gotta agree with ya. "Nothing Compares 2 U" written for The Family...and not that bald woman..not even gonna mention her name. And I gotta say that I thought "Sugarwalls" for Sheena Easton was bangin'.
