I understand about the rumors, but taking into consideration that the JW have a unique way of accepting members, one has to be approved by a counsel of elders (at least that was what was explained to me), I am sure they would not have approved of him committing adultery (I think that's some kind of a sin) with his first wife and accepted him as a member of their congregation, I think they are very strict that way. If we see them give him the boot, then we may be able to guess at the truth, but right now I'm a bit skeptical. Yet, anything is possible but I think people just want to lay blame where there probably isn't any, instead of accepting that they both wanted to take different paths in life. Yes Mani is young too but she has at least been on her own, gone to college, held a job, a regular normal persons job, paid her own bills, she knows about the "real" world and didn't come straight out of Mom's house, those things make a big difference in maturity level.

Yes, in his past life, but while he was married to Mayte he was on the path to becoming a JW, one has to go through all kinds of bible studies and training to even get a chance to stand before a council, let alone to actually becoming a member. I'm just saying maybe she decided she didn't want that life, probably conflicted with her true beliefs. And though I didn't mean to sound nasty about the circumstances of why they got married, I can't pretend to be naive and not realize that especially young women use pregnancy as the final hook to the man they love, I do believe he loved her very much, but maybe he was stalling, kept promising and not delivering. Sometimes a girl has got to do what a girl has got to do. Anyway, I keep reading different places that she was begging TL to marry her during some tv interview, which kind of tells me she would go through some lengths, sometimes not the brightest ones, to get her man. Doesn't mean she's not a sweet, loving young woman, I'm sure she is, perhaps just a little naive. But I'm sure she learning, life is one big wake up call.

well P didn't have to look far, i'm a woman and i know how nasty women can be. Mani looks very innocent, a superstar husband, she's not in his spotlight or his shadow, he tells us she loves him so good that he writes songs 4 her, but all those glitters ain't gold. I get the idea that she did whatever she had to get him, after all she was a P fam just like us. Look at how Mariah stole Tommy Motola from his wife of 20+ years. She finally got what she wanted, everything looked like it was the cream of the crop from the outside, but it soon ended in disaster. I know him and Mayte are over 4ever, but i bet if he ain't creepin with her now, he will be eventually.

There are a whole bunch of reasons why Prince and Mayte could have split. I didn't mean that they drifted apart after the baby died..ect..i didn't mean to make that sound as if i was speculating. I appologize..

I was under the impression that Mayte and Prince had annulled their marriage before Mani was on the scene.
