Not sure if this is news to anybody, but just spotted in The Age newspaper that Mavis Staples is playing at the Prince of Wales tonight (7th of April). There's an article here about it.

I don't know about ticket availability of timing, but reckon it would be well worth checking out. I'd love to go myself, but will be flying back to Singapore this evening (!)

Are any of you Melbourne folks going to check it out?

Saw her on "Good Morning Australia" this morning. (No mention of Prince though) Still, she's very cool!
