Yes, I know it's a very long time ago and they only had one CD (album), but there were some good songs on it.

My first song would definitely be "Desire", always loved that one.

Second would be "Mutiny", it seems that Prince sang that song on his tour for "Parade". Both artists did great versions of the song.

Surprisingly,my favorite song on The Family's album is the one tune that Prince didn't write,"River Run Dry" (penned by Bobby Z.).I love the dramatic feel of this song with the strings and everything.And the drums sound really loud and explosive! I also love the lyrics...

I'd say the entire CD!!!! If I had to pick....

I guess HIgh Fashion (although it's hard to separate it from Mutiny)

and the original Nothing Compares 2 U.

Although as someone already pointed out, River Run Dry has some of the most beautiful lyrics ever.

"High fashion" is a cool song. the scratchy guitar is very cool!
"Nothing compares to you"- easily the best version of the 3 I've heard (one being the live version from the hits collection)- St pauls vocals r way better than Princes (on this song) and the arrangement is very beutiful!

Anyone remember St pauls solo albums! "Down to the wire" was cool!

The entire album is blissful. It is one of very few albums I can listen to all the way through. I am so glad I'm not the only one who loves the orginal version of Nothing Compares 2 U more than any other version. River Runs Dry is my favorite song.
