Sheila E. will be performing as special guest with Cyndi Lauper on the 7th Annual VH1 Divas. The benefit concert for the VH1 Save the Music Foundation featuring Patti LaBelle, Jessica Simpson, Ashanti, Gladys Knight, Debbie Harry of Blondie, amongst others will be broadcast live from the MGM, Las Vegas on April 18, 2004 at 9 pm ET/PT. Very happy to hear that Sheila's playing, but I'm curious with the Ashanti choice; I thought she was kinda waning in her alleged "divadom", or am I just hopelessly out of touch with what's going on with the younger folks today?
