I recently got a hold of a video of The Family performing live at the 1st Ave. It's roughly 35 mins or so, but I can't find any info on it. Specifically I'm wondering what year it was, and what the songs performed are (I never owned their album, so I can't really tell what's being performed).
Also, the guy who fronts the group, who is he? I've never seen him associated with Prince, but a lot of the other band members have done things with P over the years.
I've been into P for years, I guess I'm just not that up on his associated artists. Any help would be appreciated.

Who are the extra musicians..... there are 2 keyboard players behind them and one I've heard was the late Jonathan Melvoin..... but not sure which one he is (the longer hair or shorter hair guy?)

ANd of course Miko is playing guitar.
