Jill Jones has worked with Prince, the Time, Chic, Teena Marie and many more artists. She recently performed at Sheila E.'s Family Jamm in Los Angeles. Ian Ginsberg is a great guitarist and songwriter who has worked on the NYC music scene for many years.

Jill lives in the downtown Brooklyn NYC area.
Here's a story for y'all. Just recently a friend was invited 2 a party with assorted artists. Low and behold Jill was there. My friend, being an AVID (or is that RABID) prince fan was pumping her for info in the most delicate way possible. She told him a story about a scene from "Purple Rain" that she and Prince had improvised, which was never used in the movie. It started with an embrace...and eventually Prince gently fell to the floor pulling Jill on top of him. Jill had her hands stroking them prince's hair as he layed on the floor ("She's Always In My Hair"). At one point the director yells "CUT", Jill comes up with several pieces of prince's "hair" in her hand. Needless to say he was mortified, and speechless. I was a little saddened that that mop of fabulous curls in Purple Rain had been enhanced with extensions, but oh well. lol Anyway, I thought y'all might enjoy that.
