Does anyone know if it is possible to get back-stage to Prince's concert??

You must have the following qualifications to get backstage:

1. Female
2. Between age 18-25
3. Petite, no taller than 5'6"
4. Brunette

it used to be...when his band was younger and hornier. i think they're all a little older and more settled now to be going the "Almost Famous" route (if you haven't seen that film, you MUST and you'll totally get my drift).

Hell no! I think you would have a better chance of being struck by lightening than getting backstage to a Prince concert.

...like i said, it used to be easier before old boy caught religion and stopped working with younger, hornier band members. i know a couple of chicks who succeeded back in the old days

I just wanted to know....my 4 female friends and I are going and we would love to meet him. I figured it would be almost impossible though.

non-industry or non-colleague people don't get backstage unless they've been invited...and i think that kind of old school rock &roll behavior has been over for prince for a while now. and trust me, you certainly wouldn't be allowed to talk to him. most celebrities are not interested in hearing what you have to say after they've just spilt their creative guts out at a show because they're in "decompression" mode, unless they have a fan meet & greet set up for public relations purposes. otherwise the mood is generally a "do not speak unless spoken to" kind of situation, even if you're lucky enough to be one of "the chosen" that make it backstage.

...i'm tellin' ya, you gotta go back and rent the movie "almost famous" so you can get an idea of what the set up is, or in this case, used to be like.


oh, and to full labios: i haven't forgotten about 'cha- i just keep having to leave the house and i haven't had a chance to write all that crap out again!!! if i don't go partying with the gals i'll try to catch you later, girl
