My name is Shannon and this is my 1st post.
I don't know if you guys keep up with Janet Jackson news but she was originally supposed to be portraying the role of Lena Horne until her little Super Bowl "display." Now they are looking for a replacement actress. So I started thinking about who could play the role. Then I saw a picture of Mani and the resemblance was eerie. Mani looks like she could be Lena's daughter. Especially around the eyes and the smile. Too bad Mani isn't an actress because they really look alike. See for yourself:

Hi Shannyboo. Welcome to the jungle. This place can be alot of fun as long as you don't take it seriously. Enjoy all the shennanigans and try not to get hooked! That being said, I can actually see the resemblance between the two, although there's something about Lena that's more VIBRANT! You can't help but notice her. Whereas Manuela, though she has a great smile, has a prettiness that's a little more subdued for me. In a sea of people in a crowded room, she wouldn't strike me the way that Lena would (I've seen Lena Horne perform, and when I got a chance to see her my mouth was gaping open because I was bowled over by how extraordinarily beautiful she was!). But clearly, one can see a resemblence in their features (though each woman comes across differently for me)...

lena always has a look of joy in her face...

mani always looks pained or constipated...

look at the foo's like bkw, athom and 2the9's..they been here for ages and still need help logging on...

You know, I saw a slight resemblance, it might've been in that pic or a similar one. Something about their smiles. There's no upper lip action.

Ms. Horne's a beauty. She must be in her 80's, huh? And she's from Brooklyn, too! Right on!
