Did either Prince or Sheila ever acknowledge their relationship while they were involved? I only remember hearing denials from them at the time, and I never saw a pic of them together that portrayed them as a couple.

But as far as being a source of inspiration to him, I'd say Susannah Melvoin was the best of them all.

I'd say Susannah as he wrote some great songs when he was with her, and ofcourse wrote the excellent 'If I Was Your Girlfriend' too. I'd also say Mayte, Vanity and Apollonia.

being a paisley regular i would have to say seeing him with Mayte they had a certain magic together that i haven't seen since.

they very much complimented each other. Mayte to me is still the most beautiful out of them all.

carmen is second in the beauty - but not as good with him like Mayte.


Mani and him. i still don't get it. but that is just my opinion. but usually the one you don't understand fits for some reason.


Mani has natural beauty. she doesn't wear make-up and is very down to earth as far as i know. she is the most down to earth one yet. maybe there is the attraction. although i have watched her change a bit. but i guess we all do.
