Through the wonders of Cakewalk, I burnt my vinyl copy. After a few days of spinning it in my car's CD player, I lost interest. Now, I often skip on to the Prince 12" singles I copied, too.
The Family instrumentals hold up the best to me. | |

What a great album  I have the Japanese CD and a promo on vinyl.
Does anybody know which year(s) they were released on CD in Germany and Japan? Were either of them re-issues? Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop. | |

The CD is the German issue. It was released in 1990 (the original LP was first released in 1985) | |

The same for me. You still can find at least the vinyl in wreacka stows which sell uses stuff. Check for Example the Studio 1 / Konstanz  -----------------------------------------

don't have the vinyl but just the CD, I think it was re-released (Germany, Austria...) after Sinead O'Connor hit with "Nothing compares 2 U"

I have the original CD from Germany with sticker and have had it for about 10 years. I also have the vinyl Family album.
Also have both Madhouse CDs and Jill Jones from Germany. They were not difficult to get hold of 10 years ago on import from Deutchland. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

i have the japanese cd import, the promo singles, 7" & 12" for high fashion & screams of passion and a philipene vinyl import of the lp. i got the vinyl for the equivalent of $2 in london about 5 years ago. it's all about "desire". | |
