Anyone know anything about this performance? Is it a live set or just a TV appearance? Is it available anywhere?

I'm trying to get all live appearances of Sheila. So far I have yet to find any pre-Romance 1600 live stuff except for the AMA 1985 performance and her guest spots on Prince videos like IWD4U and Baby I'm A Star.

I'd love to find a video of the opening set of the Purple Rain tour but have never seen anything like it yet.

As far as I remember it's a live set. It was televised and lasted about an hour, I think. Long time ago though!

I have a bunch of pre-R1600 but the quality isn't the best, stuff of her performing the Belle of St.Mark in various European countries and the like. But I am such stickler for quality that I have not entered them on my lists (maybe I should.) Hmmm...

I have a complete recording of Sheila E live at Maasport in 1984. The quality is reasonable but I can't tell you much about as I haven't watched it in years!

I also have a few live recordings of her doing La Belle of St. Mark and also Erotic City in her pre-Romance 1600 days.
