Let's hear it for this great keyboardist. He was easily one of the best musicians to ever work with Prince. He rocks!

I loves me some Dr. Fink. He knew how to rock a PMS joke.

I appreciate Dr. Fink. Only he can do the solo on Head.

definitely for, if no other reason, that NASTY solo on Head.

there have been some SOLID synth players that replaced Fink in the band, but really, none of them have surpassed the Doctor either in technique or in what he contributed when he was part of the group.


& we BARELY got a taste of what he could do on "the big screen"..


Matt Fink definitely was the man, & in most ways probably still is.

until family jamm i never had much of an appreciating for finks playing...but man oh man..damn that guy can play...

Dr. Fink has always been the man. The combination of Dr. Fink, Herbie Hancock and Prince were what made me start playing keyboards. Before them it seemed all synth players were dorks, and you know, after them I think a lot of them are dorks, myself included. Now i have to go listed to It's Gonna be a Beautiful Night.

I always found Fink to be quite sexy after he did somethin with that red 'fro of his. The older he got..the finer he got!

He's a great keyboard player and a very nice person as well. He promised to call me to answer me some question I asked him back in 1990 and when he forgot he gave me and a friend 2 invitations for Prince's birthday party in a club that took place that day to make up for it

Dr. Fink, just one letter away from Dr. Funk.
