"She (I Can't Resist)" by Jesse Johnson (1986) anybody remember this jam? This has got to be the funkiest Jesse Johnson track. From his excellent album 'Shockadelica'.

THere is a 12" for this cut. That entire album didnt get the notice that it deserved even though there was a hit with Crazay

Yeah, that album deserved much more success.I remember reading an interview where Jesse admitted that he was "bummed out" at the album's performance on the charts.Songs like "Do Yourself A Favor","She (I Can't Resist)","Tonight" and "Burn You Up" are just amazing.

Funny, I was jamming to the 12" of Crazay (with Sly Stone) yesterday on my new ipod!!! I had just converted my LP to MP3. I'm pretty sure I also have the 12" of "She I cant' Resist" at my parents' house... gotta go get that too. Doesn't he spend half the song going: "Good God! Unnnh!"??? It's like that and "Get a little satisfaction..." he even does that on W&L's 2nd album. But the ultimate, all-time Jesse jam has GOT to be... Drive Yo' Cadillac...!!! That is the sh*t!!! Huuunh!

Heck yea!!This song and album were great...a nice follow up to Jessie's first album...Even though I'm not black, I've always loved that song "Being black in America." This album should be revisited by all Minn. Sound fans...
