The Family LP: Interesting Credits Still coming down off the high of seeing The Family perform LIVE at the Family Jamm (a dream come true!!!)... I dug out all my original LPs from the 80s.
The Family vinyl came in a really nice fold-out sleeve with lots of photos in the inside spread (the RIAA should look at this and learn why people will still buy music if it's packaged well!). Anyway I noticed a few interesting tidbits:
Anyway, just some weird trivia. Happy New Year everyone! | |

No wonder the music industry is falling apart. The people who run it are so dumb. Did they even bother to find out if he (or anyone else for that matter) actually has musical talent?? I'm trying to remember if I actually believed that (i.e. the Jerome writing credit) when I read back in '85...of course I was only 18... Jerome probably just got lost in the shuffle. They (A&M) were being sold around that time. Herb Alpert sold it, to whom I can't recall (Virgin, maybe). Visual reference: Diamonds-Herb Alpert video (Janet Jackson, Jerome, Jellbean. Produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis.) Anyway, acts often get dropped in the transfer of power. Non-Linear Reality

Prince and his photography. He also shot the 12" cover of Sheila E. for "Koo Koo." Non-Linear Reality
