good work, but associated artists would be even better.
i have heard no talk of a new album. they currently compose the music on tv's Crossing Jordan. I'll ask them about a new album at the Family Jamm! check out their offical site: wendyandlisa.com http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

If you do PLEASE don't forget about asking them if the Family Jam sees a CD/DVD release! It would be a damn shame if not. But... when you'll ask it's going to be too late anyway. Sigh. Wolf

Wolf DVD Although we have seriously addressed the possibility of recording this benefit concert to raise additional funds for our foundation, at this time and as a result of the legal challenges and financial ramifications, we regret to inform you that The 1st Annual Family Jamm! will not be filmed for the distribution of a DVD. We appreciate your comments, interest & support, and hope to see you in Los Angeles for this historical event. You don't want to miss it! Prince's Involvement New and exciting artists are confirming for the Family Jamm! every week. There have been many rumors about Prince's participation. With regard to him, we would love it if he would participate. He has an open invitation, but to date, has not http://www.lilangelbunny....jnews.html

Thx asian for this apparently kinda official statement! It's really much appreciated. Unfortunately, like a whole lot of other people I'm stuck here in good ol' Europe and as much as I would like to rush over to LA... no chance. I really wouldn't care that much about Prince's participation. What I'd like is to see and witness a gathering of the talent of all artists contributing. Artists who helped Prince on his path as Prince did for them (and sometimes as he did not - like shelving certain projects). On the other hand I understand the legal hassle with handling the rights not only of Prince written songs but also of the various artists' labels. Let alone the very nature of the involvement of Prince and Warner (& maybe Universal?) which is needed in the release of a DVD or CD. So I'm still hoping for a later project (maybe a studio collaboration of the artists participating?) or another, second Family Jam. Hey, after all it's called the "1st Annual Family Jam"... I wish you success and a great audience @ LA - and have fun! Wolf

Ya know, "Girl Bros." and "Eroica" are two albums I don't listen to as much as I should, and as a result I don't know either of them very well...I always took care of my W&L fix with the first two albums - I looove the first one, and I really like the second one, and after that my interest kinda trails off...though I had an opportunity to hear the tracks from the aborted project with Trevor Horn, and I'm really in favor of those recordings. I don't think I've listened to "Eroica" in over a decade, sheesh...I oughtta give it another spin. Though I really wish I could get my mitts on a copy of "Fruit on the Bottom" that ain't on cassette, boo hoo...

I'd really like to URGE you to listen to Eroica again... Mother Of Pearl and Why Wait For Heaven are way more than worth it. MOP easily is one of my top-ten-of-all-time-favourites-of-all-artists-in-every-way-and-every-mix-for-each-occasion. This includes Prince's work, btw. To be honest, most of the time I'd give MOP my top vote *within* the favourite ten. Wolf
