The Girls I was looking through an old issue of Rock & Soul (2/85) and came across an article about this group. I forgot all about them! Anyone else remember The Girls?

I remember that article!! Those girls were talking alot of shit in the interview...
"Unlike Vanity,I mean Apollonia 6,we can sing.And although we also sing about sex,we do it with more style and class than they do.We don't have to come out in neglicees or our underwear to get an audience excited". Anyway, do you know that this "The Girls" thang was in the making since 79. Prince stole the Vanity 6 idea from Andre according to the DMSR book. | |
