How would you think Purple Rain would of turned out if Vanity would of played his girl? I think it would of been very interesting since her group and prince were used to her.

i wish vanity was in it, she was more brassy and beautiful. i got annoyed with appollonia in that film. how many times can you say 'hey' in a film.lol

I Wish Vanity was in it and you know well maybe those parts that supposedly Prince wrote would have been in there. Vanity was alot better Looking and much Sexier and a better singer than Apples. Though Apples was O.K.

Appolonia just wasn't Prince's Type and she never would have been with him in a movie if Vanity didn't Leave. It Worked though.

In the original script that PR came from "Dreams" the part was orginally written with Vanity in mind. The script had to be changed when Vanity and Prince broke up. Haven't all ever wondered why Prince chose someone that looked almost like a clone of Vanity and took Vanity 6 and renamed it Appolonia 6. I wil be back with the website where the script can me downloaded and read.
