Revolution members Wendy & Lisa join "Family Jamm" lineup

Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman, the "Girl Bros." from Prince's backing band, The Revolution, who played with the band on some of Prince's biggest hit songs, including "Purple Rain", "Kiss", "Let's Go Crazy", "Raspberry Beret" and more, have joined the star-studded lineup for the upcoming Family Jamm concert. Lisa joined the Revolution in 1980, while Wendy joined in 1983, and both stayed in the band until 1986. Wendy and Lisa also have a successful solo career, releasing 4 albums, and currently are busy scoring movies and television shows. Wendy and Lisa join St. Paul Peterson from The Family, Apollonia, and host Carmen Electra, who have already confirmed. The show will take place in Los Angeles in mid December.

This is fantastic news. It's worth the trip to LA from Europe just to see W&L.

I remember W & L were going to do an accoustic gig in London a few years back, but they cancelled sad

This project of Sheila's sounds fantastic. So audacious of her...unless ofcourse, P is secretly in on this wink

It seems that Sheila's site is slowly announcing the acts that Rolling Stone did all at once. Bobby and Fink should be next.
