i just got a hold of a copy of part of an episode of video soul that wuz dedicated 2 the mpls sound...donnie simpson interviewed andre cymone on it, and it's a pretty cool bit...any of ya'll old-skoolers remember this?

I remember that show quite well. Andre was dissin' some guy who showed up at an awards show (I think it was the Minneapolis Music Awards - not sure) wearing a dress. He and Donnie "I'm not JT Taylor" Simpson had a good laugh about that. It was when "The Dance Electric" was going strong - 'dre had his hair styled like it was in that video. Those were the days...
