Love it or hate it?

I have 2 b honest, when I first heard it I didn't care that much 4 it. Even now, it's not the GR8TEST song he's had his hand in, but there is a certain easy-going charm about it.

One of those many unconventional pop songs he's so good at writing - what r ur thoughts?

I tried 2 like the song but I couldn't,,something about it makes it hard to swollow so to speak.

Maddy's singing is one of the reasons but mainly I'm talking about the whole atmospher if you know what I mean. but then again I wished he'd work with her in Erotica's era,,,he would def come up with something suitable.

this song is fantastic. It shows (especially if you play the whole album) how Prince pushed Madonna to do something different.

At first I hated it, then suddenly, it clicked and it still makes it on many of my "best of Prince" compilations.

"LoveSong" is a mesmerizing track,and Prince and Maddy sound great on it.Their voices blend well together (Maddy sounds more soulful than usual).However,the lyrics are repetitive and the song could have used another verse or two.The lines "are you wasting my time? Are you just being kind?" are repeated over and over,making the song sound like an unfinished demo.

I just remember the look of death he shot her at the 1999 VMA's after she came out and said "it takes a real man to fill my shoes" when they had those drags doing all her personas from the 80s...what did she do to prince anyway that made him bitter towards her?

I really like this song-it is simple and and nothing challenging, but I love the sound of it. I was about 8 or something when this album came out and was really into both Prince and Madonna at the time, so found the fact they were on the same record fantastic. Now when I listen to Like a Prayer it is usually the first song I play.

Those two fight like cats and dogs. He has never liked Madonna. He thought she had a big mouth and she thought he didn't care about someone. Not her. A friend.
Prince got nervous around Drag Queens. Smile. He has nothing against them he just could not understand why a man would want to dress up like a woman. Madonna loves everyone.
Prince was being hypocritical. If you believe we should love everyone as God wants does that mean you can just decide who you won't love. Smile.
