Julian's Ride to perform TWICE in Metro Detroit SATURDAY, June 28 Dearest Motor Babies,
I was just informed about 10 minutes ago that Julian and Julian's Ride are a little delayed in getting to Detroit for today's two gigs -- Harmony House in Berkley/Royal Oak and JB Bamboozles in Dearborn. The afternoon in-store appearance and gig at Harmony House in Berkley, near 11 1/2 mile, has been delayed until 4 PM. Don't worry, Julian will be ready to put his foot down on the funk for all of us in an all-ages FREE performance. Harmony House Woodward, 28297 Woodward Avenue (at 11 1/2 Mile Road) BERKLEY, MI 48072. Contact Lloyd Welch or Lori Smith at 1-248-544-3235 for details. Tonight's gig will go off as planned -- 9:30-10pm until 2 am at JB Bamboozles on Michigan Avenue in Dearborn (14323 Michigan Ave, just west of City Hall and Schlaf, east of M-39 Freeway and Greenfield Road, parking FREE in back). Bamboozles is $10 per person entry and 21-and-over. Jason Webber, local freelance entertainment writer from Dearborn, who recently reviewed Alex Han's POSSESSED book about Prince here on Prince.Org or at TheDetroitCrawl.Org, conducted an interview with Julian in advance of his two-venue stay in Metro Detroit today. You can read the article here -- [w] http://www.pressandguide....asp?ID=106 You can still read the article after Saturday, just in the archive section. Click on the ARCHIVE button on pressandguide.com and select 20030625 (June 25, 2003) and look for the article in the ENTERTAINMENT area of the site. The paper comes out Wednesday and Sunday of every week. Julian is looking to perform some new joints from his upcoming entitled release EARECTION, due out late Summer 2003. See you all this afternoon and tonight. Peace out -- Timmy : - D // thedetroitcrawl.org

I looove Julian! He puts on a great show! If I lived in Detroit, I would be going to see his show. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

If you are not able to see him in Detroit, then possibly Sunday, June 29, at Summerfest in Milwaukee? Julian has been on the road a lot lately, but seems to be doing most of his gigging as of late in Chicago and Northwest Indiana. Take a look at the calendar section here on Prince.Org. He has a stay at The Cubby Bear in Chicago in July and will be performing a lot in Milwaukee later on this summer and fall, as THE REVOLUTION, in hyping up their guest-starring role as The Revolution in Milwaukee's "Purple Rain Rock Opera."

Thanks! I have seen Julian perform several times at the Princefests that are usually held in Toledo. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
