Did Vanity 6 Use the Revolution? I have an mp3 of Vanity 6's 1982 minneapolis performance of "make up" - ilove this song-it reminds me of imnotjustsayingthis2bnasty.
does anyone know if the revolution played the music for v6 during this show? or did V6 have their own band? Let the rain come down...17 days....

The Time was the live backup band for Vanity 6 on the Triple Threat tour. ***************************************************
Seems like the overly critical people are the sheep now days. It takes guts to admit that you like something. -Rdhull ...it ain't where ya from, it's where ya at... - Rakim

Wow, I must be getting old. Who didnt know that the Time backed Vanity 6 in the gigs? Well, I actually saw them twice on the 1999 tour so those that were born after 1983 might not know anything about it.

That "Who" would be me, thank you. Obviously unlike you I'm no die hard fan (Can i give you a medal?)--and I was born in 1975, not after 1983. I wasn;t allowed to go to a concert until 1984. Actually anyone backstage played do you think the girls knew how to play. Okay Vanity did have a couple of piano lessons. She quit it was too difficult. sorry if that was over your head...jump up and try to catch the point next time.

When Jam & Lewis missed a show (see Old Friends For Sale), Prince played bass from back stage. I don't know who filled in on keys. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.
