Comming soon? Hopefully this nice new site will have a spell check feature. Prince may be the purple Yoda, but Wendy & Lisa and Eric Leeds also sit on the Jedi Council.

I do no want any cool things to check out, I want a NEW ALBUM. What sense is in a Wendy & Lisa website update if there won't be a new album ?

GirlBros.com is NOT their website, so... the two have very little to do with each other.

Ooops, sorry. I thought it was their official web-site.

I had thought that this might be the replacement for the long defunct wendyandlisa.com but am not so sure now.
Will just have to wait till June to find out for sure.

'Cause they do alot of stuff in the music business other than record as solo artists. Within the music industry they have an excellent and long standing reputation for being writers and composers, session players, and yes "sidemen" (or sidewomen!), although a lot of their fans only seem to be interested in their solo work. It's kind of a pity, 'cause they always have their hands in so many A-list projects (especially with the film and tv industry), and their talents should be recognized (not just amongs their industry peers) in those arenas as well. Their artistry isn't any less vital because it's being redirected to other musical avenues...that's like saying the famous bassist Marcus Miller should be churning out more recordings rather than score (every darn black romantic comedy) film every chance he gets, or that a film score from Miles Davis, like say, "Siesta" isn't as "mention-worthy" as his solo albums. In reality, making records is a VERY small part of being a working, sucessful musical artist. Obviously, I'm not referring to the kind of people who chart Billboard top 20 or MTV (who BOMBARD us with new music all the darned time!), but rather, the other ARTISTS who make music from the time they are really young to retirement age as a lifelong career. Shoot, it takes approximately 20 years to correctly "learn" an instrument, so I'm always excited to see all the different things artists can do with their "craft" other than play for themselves.

Will just have to wait till June to find out for sure. Actually, there's no waiting required. This is NOT an official site based on anything I've heard. If you want to see a preview of the official site, go to the web designers page here : http://www.flyhc.com/webproducer.php You should find a sneak peek screenshot half way down the page.

For some reason the launch of girlbros.com has been indefinitely postponed.
Oh well, just have to wait for the official site I guess.

As much as I appreciate their other work (Bramhall & Finn projects, in particular), MM is a bad example. In addition to his continued session work and scores, the man has consistently delivered solo albums to his considerable fan base every couple of years, and has released 3 products in less than 3 years. Would that the girls would release an album every 2 or 3 years!!!
