I just talked to John Blackwell and I see why some get ill impressions of him. He seems to be very cool but sometimes aloof and not interested but overall I got a really good vibe. I see now why Prince chose him as a drummer. For those who haven't seen John in concert before, check out one of his clinics if it comes to your town. It's a great laid back experience and a chance to touch base with a very talented musician.
