You know what amazes me...(particularly speaking to girlbro and WonderU) I can understand the masses being "blown away" by the Wendy is with a different Lisa thing (honestly, it came as a surprise to me as well). But, I can NOT believe that this many people (so called fans) actually were still under the assumption that Wendy & Lisa were still a couple? You an I had talked this to death before, so I really want your opinion. Remember how you said Wendy was a VERY PRIVATE person? How do you think Wendy feels about Cholodenko's outting of her? Do you think that they are really that much in love and Wendy actually gave her the okay. Because this is a 1st time that I have ever seen it in print (Other than the RockGrl article where Wendy admits her relationship with Lisa Coleman). AND I don't think that Wendy is going to appeciate the fact that she was not the one to state it. We all know how Wendy is.

I really am curious to know what the friends think. Meaning those who know Wendy...I feel shit hitting the fan, if Wendy didn't want it known yet.

As they say here in NY (Channel 11).."What's your opinion, we'd like to know?"

That is the reason why I posed the question to everyone. In this article, Wendy does the talking (outting). And it is different to publicize (Melvoin) a relationship that lasted 19+ years than being outted (Cholodenko) for a newly formed relationship.

I guess I was just curious to see how Wendy felt about this and why Wendy wasn't the one to say something 1st. You know? It doesn't fit Wendy's style at all.

Are you trying to say that Lisa Cho (i shorten up) is lying about her relationship? I doubt it and Wendy maybe private about her life but she doesn't care what others think of it either.
Personally I felt that Wendy and Lisa Col. weren't connecting like they used to when lately I seen Wendy not only performing with other artists alone but also doing solo projects with other artists. In the past usually Wendy and Lisa Col does everything gig together whether an artist wanted them on their album or stage performance.
I am glad to hear on the recently LA times article of the ladies that they still doing scores together but I wondering will they be doing music sessions and stage performance with others artists solo as I stated before of what I seen Wendy doing for over a year.

Thanks, tookie! That is exactly the kind of discussion that I was hoping for. I agree that Wendy doesn't "seem" to be concerned with what the fans think anymore, or the media for that matter about her personal life. I just thought that perhaps, she would want to be the one to have the 1st say.

Naively I had always assumed W&L were a couple. No real reason for it, other than I had never heard anything to the contrary and lets face it there's not a lot of info around especially since the demise of wendyandlisa.com.

Still. This doesnt mean they'll stop working together musically. Hell, it might even propel them into recording some new music based on this new phase in their lives.

Girl Bros is great but it must be getting on for 6/7 years now!! How long does a guy need to wait..!
