Back in 2023 I shared on here my hypothesis that the classic V6 instrumental boot "Wet Dream Cousin" was actually the instrumental arrangement for Vanity 6's original "Boy" that Prince re-did himself into the classic B-side "Girl" a few years later due to perceived structural similarities and the overall ethereal vibes. Welp, it looks like someone finally isolated Vanity's backmasked vocals (for the most part) from "Girl" and overlaid them over the instrumental track on YT. I think this may have been it. Can't wait to see if we are right about this one once it (hopefully) is finally free from the Vault.
