Yeah except you got that backwards. You should post a picture of Prince and be saying that he has a Larry shirt and hairdo.

you are correct. People diss Larry now but those that know the history have to recognize the influence that he has had on Prince and funk in general. He is one of the cooornerstones. Read the text under the photo in that link and educate yourself on one of the architects of funk - Larry Graham.
