Moved to garveyard

If I were Bart I would stop posting anything 'Prince' newsworthy on here and move on to other places where people actually care about the news value of it instead of bickering about how it was posted in the wrong forum.

Nobody was bickering. If I see a post in Prince music and more, I expect it to be about a Prince track, that is all. I'm not especially interested in the stuff he did with assosciated artists. Next time I'll just ping a note to the moderators instead of a friendly mention in the thread. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I'm not a Bart hater and appreciate the news posts that he regularly makes. Also, if Bart cared about what people thought, I'm pretty sure he'd have quit this place a long time ago.

Sure, a track written by, produced by, and performed by Prince (except sung) is not a relevant thread for the "Prince music" forum. (Yet when the exact same track would be released with Prince's vocals it would magically be on topic!)

- "Which accounting firms used to handle Prince's taxes?"

- Two (!) threads of people compiling a playlist of Prince tracks for Christmas

- Someone searching for footage of Prince at a Vikings game

.

- A thread about someone watching an upscaled version of Purple Rain on a 4K TV and imagining they're seeing more pixels.

- "Will Prince still matter in 2051?"

.

(And let's be honest, some of the other threads that are about music ain't exactly winners either.)

But my thread is the one that bothered you.

Like I've said before: this forum should be split in two:

.

- one where all threads are actually about the music

.

- one where all the superficial garbage can live

I'm not denying the quality of you post is above those other examples.
