Yeah I understand how everyone thinks all she is now is PRINCE related, but they tend to forget her roots, her parents, who are in the band, and that influence and who they played with. So i do feel PRINCE was a huge influence and mentor to her, but she is not his protege by any means, but as far as an associated artist I would say she brings the most to the table of anyone he has worked with.

I'm really looking forward to this album.

I thought Golden Child was an exceptional album. At least as good as Back In Time.

Great first single as well.

I'm trying to keep everything as fresh as possible for when the album arrives.

I've only heard Baby,I'm Hollywood and God Blees the Mechanic. I lived both.

I started to post it but I'm not trying to post her whole album, though it'sthere on YouTube. But I like that song too. I just like her voice. And glad she's moving forward.

I just played Golden Child. It is such a great album. Sadly it seemed to be largely ignored on here. Anyone who enjoyed Back in Time I'm pretty sure would also enjoy Golden Child.

Only a week to wait for the new album. Hopefully it will be 3 out 3 great albums.

I have just listened to the new album for the first time.

First impressions are another it's yet another very strong album. It sounds great, very organic sounding album and her vocals are great.

Not too far removed from her first two albums, a little longer but doesn't outstay its welcome.

https://www.spin.com/2021...interview/

“Funk is the party in the midst of a burning fire,” says Hill, seated in a chair in the backyard of her Los Angeles home. “My music is about finding the funk and soul in the middle of sorrow. You have to find a way to dance in the fire. That’s the type of funk I feel I’m moving into.”

Ok. Warning. For those esaily triggered, she's doing this interview promoting her new stuff not about the past so there will be parts in the interview that say just that.

What a masterpiece - I love it !!!

She's such a versatile singer, songwriter and instrumentalist, I'm just amazed and can't get enough of her funky and other stuff - Silence is probably the most surprising, "out of the box"-song on the album.

I can only hope that the times will allow her to perform live on stage again soon pray

On friday 3/26 she will be doing a virtual concert at Artparty/eventbrite.co.uk -check it out cool
