Hey any UK #Prince fans ordered from the Starfish & Coffee online store? How long did it take for your order to arrive from the US? I had an order sent out at end of November but still no sign and I don’t have an shipping number from them to chase.

It could be worth your time to contact customer service. If it's been since November, and no word, it's definitely worth the effort. I can only guess, at best, that the order was never filled since there is no shipping or tracking number. However, you do have an order number, so it's easy for them to find the status.

Also, send a message to her Arist page on Facebook with your email and the order number. Don't post it in the public discussion on her page. Keep it private, but reach out and say hey, where's muh stuff?

Keep us updated? I'd be curious to know.

I apologize, it this is the case. There have been so many 'out-of-line' moves made by associates that I thought it was another one.

But the "if" says you believed you're probably correct, that you read it somewhere. Ergo, I asked for a source link. How do you know Prince authorized Susannah to do anything in her life? My bigger general point is that Prince doesn't own these people. She has every right to "Starfish" as Prince did, and even moreso for the artwork she did back then. Can she use ? No, but can she use what she created? Of course.

Pretty sure it was on the org, one of the past times she was being questioned, and there was a whole thing with Questlove wearing an unofficial version of the shirt. Something about her needing money, and beginning to auction items off. I don't see the thread now, so maybe it was somewhere else, and who knows the accuracy. All I can find is one of the moderators also saying she did it while he was alive, in another thread sort of attacking her. As for Susannah doing it, I think technically a grey area because it's a fine to use lyrics if Prince likely retained publishing. The title is fine. I'm on Susannah's side with this either way, I don't like the tendency to attack a certain era of women in his life.

I will say, I can't find proof the site existed while he was alive. The Wayback machine site archives start at 2017 and looks newer than 2017. So I don't

Thank you for clarifying. Makes sense. A bell is ringing in my head about some of that, too now that you mentioned it. I do remember the Questlove thing but forget the details about it.

I would imagine the site didn't exist before his death so you may not find anything there. Fdeluxe's site did, but that particular Susannah merch didn't really come out until after he passed. And you're right about the title - an artist can't copyright a title. Think how many songs are called "I Love You" or "Baby" or whatever. Think about two songs being called "Jump" out in 1984; Pointer Sisters relabeled theirs "Jump (For My Love)" to avoid confusion. (Sidenote, one can't copyright a drum pattern either or every four-on-the-floor would be suing either other one. Someone could literally recreate the pattern to "Raspberry Beret" (which Timberlake almost did, but not quite), or "Anotherloverholenyohead" and the estate couldn't do shit about it. A sample, yes. A copy, no.

I'm with you on backing Susannah, too. Folks can do what they want. If other folks don't like it, go piss on someone else's parade. The woman is supporting her kids as a single mom. More power to her. If I had the cash, I'd have partaken as well. I bought Gaslight and A.M. Radio, though.

Awesome sauce. Keep us posted. Even though you're overseas, November seems like an awfully long time to wait for an order at this point.

November is 3 months ago. If you don't get a reply raise it with credit card or PayPal for a refund. Its up to you then if you choose to reorder. Susannah seems a pretty genuine person so doubt it's intentional but we all need our money right now and if you don't get your goods you're entitled to yours.

You could email or message her on her FB or Instagram page. It bet she or someone else she works with will respond.

I got the tshirt a couple years ago and I love it. I have actually made new friends who came up to me after seeing the shirt asking where I got it and I directed them to Susannah's website. Why dump on it? Great song, great lyric/story, and great artist to support. End of story.

I was contacted last Tuesday saying I would receive an update as to where my order was the next day. Since then nothing.
I’ve sent another email but have taken your suggestion and sent Susannah a very polite message on Instagram.
I’m very grateful as it’s a signed item but it does seem a long time since my order.
