MAVIS Should have featured on more Prince albums. She has such
an incredible voice. I don't really understand why she wasn't on more of his albums. They could have done some mean duets together. I know he wrote her a lot of tracks, and she does feature on the GB album, but that's not really what I'm looking for. There is, fcuz, "God Is Alive" but it was never placed on either GB or Rave so I won't count that one. I might be overlooking something but I don't think she's featured on any other Prince album, has she? I'd like to see him do a proper duet with Mavis, something like "U Make My Sun Shine" where they both have extensive vocal parts. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

She has such a beautiful voice, I almost start to cry when i hear round and round. Where is she now anyway... Damn Prince was a fool not to do any further future with her

Uhm, not to say no thing beyond me reasons, but Mavis was
not the one that sang Round&Round, that was Tevina. wasn't it? [This message was edited Thu May 1 7:56:27 PDT 2003 by IstenSzek] and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I saw her onstage back in 1995 it was so cool and emotional... She is very nice and I hope to hear from her soon... "Goodness will guide us when love is inside of us... The Force will be with you, always"

i can't believe how warm and soulful her voice is, the stuff she did with Prince is great , especially love 'you will be moved', what a killer track that is.

Anybody remember her version of "Positivity"?
A little...odd. Don't bite me, tho - I love Mavis. Kay? The Normal Whores Club

she has an amazing voice.
good enough that i will endure religious lyrics for her voice Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. - Lord Acton

when he covered "When Will We Be Paid?" that would have
been another fine opportunity to get Mavis in the Park, and let her contribute to it. She could have screamed some hIgh notes on that one. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

i think the voice

She has a beautiful voice...
Time Waits For No One is classic... Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

The last time I saw her was at Paisley party a couple years ago. She tore up that stage. It was great.

Agree.
Mavis / Boni / Rosie ... great gathered great voices around him. Unfortunately he has never cared to put too much emphasize on any of his side projects so it's really a pity that he did not feature Mavis on more productions / albums.
