Think of it like this: hardcore Prince fans would hear of the book anyway because as a whole, they tend to be up to date on this sort of thing. Questlove, however, has a platform branching out to different demographics, and it could open avenues of interest in Leeds' book, particulary musicians' and music academic/historian circles. Any musician that has the chance to bring their writing to a figure and a platform as influential as Quest has grown to be is just utilizing good, old-fashioned marketing. | |

I get that. But the list of rumored books is sooo long, granted some have been completed and released but many more are still just rumor or have evaporated. Another rumor from someone who isn't doing the actual writing nor is a publisher is just becoming another log on the pile. Quest is doing fine doing his things he delivers. Time keeps on slipping into the future...

I get that. But the list of rumored books is sooo long, . No it isn't. Go on, prove me wrong, post that "loooong" list of rumored books. . granted some have been completed and released . Hilarious. A published book is a "rumored" book in your mind? . but many more are still just rumor or have evaporated. . Which? Go on, post that list as well. . Another rumor from someone who isn't doing the actual writing nor is a publisher is just becoming another log on the pile. . Oh for crying out loud. It seems like a bunch of silly moot points that went way beyond what I said which I stand by and wasn't all that serious. The question is at this point who isn't rumored to be writing a book, that's a way shorter list. Most of the books are or were rumors at some point in the timeline since Apr. 21st 2016. Probably could count on one hand with fingers left over the books that just popped up unannounced. Are you getting paid per click cause you are taking it a bit too seriously? I'm not posting a thing, we all (who cares anyway) know who has made mention, ie rumored, they're putting out a book and which one of those actually have. I don't care who is whose favorite and who they want a book from, i don't want everybody's book either. I just got a chuckle out of Quest announcing someone else's book and it ended there for me. Time keeps on slipping into the future...
