Apppolonia was a big part of the Purple Rain experience. But, she was Vanity's replacement and no one is accusing her of being a great actress, singer or musician. Say what you want about Sheila, but she is an extremely talented artist that is respected in the industry beyond her association with Prince and has done things outside of 1984. This is some petty jealous nonsense and a shame that we are talking about this during a week where we should be celebrating Prince.

You are so desperate to be RELEVANT as the brilliant Linda Perry said. Prince refused to acknowledge you for 5 years before his death because of your lies. Your charity funds went where? Where are the music schools $$?? I was there helping you raise funds. I had your best interest at heart but later found out , the money went into your dirty pocket$. I was crestfallen. Prince scolded me! He knew better. You can’t continue to fool our Prince fans any longer. Because I AM here to tell you, it’s over. Time for the truth. My memoirs will reveal all that Prince revealed to me. Painful for me because I was your friend. I helped you raise $$$ My wealthy friends asked me : Where are the music schools?$!? None exist! FKN tragic because I believed you. Prince was so angry because of all your continuous lies. Your bio filled with lies. He sent you legal letters as you were slandering him. Why would you do a Purple Rain boat cruise tour $?$? in 2016? Why would you sell Prince logo tshirts $$$ ? Why did you tell The Revolution April 2016 that YOU knew how Prince died BUT you could not tell them!?! Please get over yourself: YOU ARE NOT PRINCE. You will never be. You can copy his attire , try your best, but you will NEVER be Prince 👑 So get over yourself sad self and face the truth. He did not want anything to do with you for 5 years. The part highlighted in what you said about being sick and done with Apollonia, Sheila, Jill Jones, Susannah Melvoin (and I would throw in Mayte) is exactly how I feel. These women don't give a crap about Prince or any of the fans. Their ultimate goal is to try to shine through Prince death, saying and doing anything to big themselves up to act like Prince loved them the most, and in the end making them more MONEY. The thing though and now I see Cat getting into the mix too, and I'm like Cat? Are u serious. But with Mayte she was married to him had one child and also had a miscarriage too, and covered him in his lies and stayed silent for a long time, she could have easily written a book in 2000. None of these women were married to him I get they were close and dated and probably slept with him and some claim they were going to be married to him but mayte was as was Manuela, who also by the way didn't write a book but for some reason has bonded with Mayte and no one from the early days. The trouble is all in that era, I mean when I have ever heard Andy Allo talk trash about Judith Hill or vice versa, I mean it's petty.

Have Wendy and Lisa stayed above the fray? It doesn't seem like they've said a ton or tried to stay in the Prince glow since he passed - at least after intial period right after his death when everyone was sharing memories and paying tribute.

Wendy and Lisa have stayed out. So has Shelia for that matter. Jill Jones has bursted out talking shit, but it's been awhile. Seems like a big part of this is some background politics about Shelia getting musical director gigs... which she's totally qualified for.

I've been reading with interest the "conversations" regarding my dear friends Sheila E. and LeRoy Bennett and their baking of Prince's favorite desert, lemon cake. It's little known that ALL of us were required, back in the day, to be able to make this confection for him. Page 13, paragraph four, subsection 2B of my employment agreement with PRN, from the late 80's, reads " Pursuant to this agreement, the party known as the Employee, shall be required to be familiar with the recipe for the confection known as lemon cake, and be able to make such cake at the request of the party known as the Employer
(i.e. Prince Rogers Nelson)."

Prince asked me only once to make the lemon cake for him.
By happenstance it was the week of Passover, either 1987 or 88, if I remember. So I decided it might be nice to have the cakes blessed by a rabbi for the occasion, after which I proudly presented Prince with my Lemon Kosher Cakes.
As it turns out, he liked them so much that for awhile, he actually considered converting to Judaism. As a result, somewhere in the infamous "vault" is a remake of his famous song "The Cross" (from Sign O' The Times) with somewhat altered lyrics and re-titled ..... "The Nosh".....
