You'd think a smart man with all the answers to life would be spreading the truth somewhere other than a Prince.org thread about lemon cake lol

Funny how Miss Kotero seems to be getting a pass for her not-so-thinly-veiled HOMOPHOBIA (i.e. the "Prince said you're a HeShe!!!") comment.

But if she's quoting Prince, then you're aiming at the wrong target.

She did say "at first I thought it was mean", implying that she later came to agree with his (alleged) transphobic comment. So if she isn't lying, they're both in the wrong.

Exactly. Also why even bring it up? It's a passive-aggressive way of calling someone something.

.

.

"I think you suck, you'r e a liar. And also, Betsy said you're a bitch!"

.

.

How childish.

.

.

If she has papers or proof of embezzlement/charity fraud, then she should contact the IRS, not Facebook. Please. But then again, this is the woman who claims to have proof that Prince was murdered, but hasn't contacted the police and FBI.

.

.

Sheila didn't do a PR cruise, it was a Glamorous Life cruise. Get your own "lies" staight, girl.

.

.

And again, Prince chose Sheila to be onstage with him starting in 1984 (PR tour), SOTT Tour, Lovesexy Tour, and various high proifle gigs (Brit Awards, Live @ Aladdin, NAACP Awards, Alma Awards), Musicology Dates, W2A dates, up to 2011 that I know of. That's almost 30 years!!!

Kotero came on at the encore of a couple PR shows in 84/85 and that was it. She was also BANNED from Paisley Park.

I love Sheila E and have always said she was one the most smartest, talented and coolest protégés P ever had!

Yet all the crap that went on between P and Sheila E through the years always made me wonder about her true intentions. Then after his death she was all over it acting like she was his closest friend and held back information like she had all the answers and then the cruise (wtf!?) right after his death....it all didn’t look good and doesn’t feel right.

“Pasta simmers on the stove in June
Makes no sense yet, but it will soon...”
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

Remember there is only one destination and that place is U
All of it. Everything. Is U.

The cruise was "The Glamorous Life" cruise. It's her biggest hit and what she's known for

.

.

Plus someting like that takes months of planning if not a year; I'm sure the timing was coincidental. I remember it being announced before his death though I'm not going to search for it.

I have to agree on that too, I am not really interested in her solo work without his input. I think there is something to say of that also because I feel she thinks because she is very well regarded as a musician and by others and even by the fans, it used to be a crime if you said you liked another drummer over her, i told someone I preferred Hannah Welton over her and they went nuts like i killed their dog. I think Shelia honestly felt or feels a bit entitled to have her "say" in these matters, or that she is owed something. I know there was a time when her and Prince were not on good terms at all, and that i believe was up till she performed with him at the show where Obama was in 2009 or something like that but i do remember her mentioning after his death in an interview she and him didnt agree because of his language on records during the 90s and what he was doing.

I bolded the parts where I was yelling at my computer screen in agreement with you.

She even made a statement on Twitter or somewhere about how she would no longer be doing any work with Prince, at all. This was in the later aughts. The talk was that it was over money. I don't know if that's true or not. I remember the same talk when she left after Lovesexy. I can't see her being so high and mighty about language on a record, where the word 'fuck' was so clearly coming from his mouth and it was arguably his most popular B-side to date in the general public. She still sings the song, more than he did post-JW. (Yeah, I know she says funk.)

She may not have liked his language, but she still had no problem dressing up as him and dancing to a Linn drum loop one year when the Saints made it to the Super Bowl. She still doesn't seem to have a problem with all the other shit Kotero called her out on - a cruise (tasteless), his symbol all over her stuff (where's the trademark lawyers for fuck's sake?!), or even dressing in his 92/93 era outfits (as in the upcoming Grammys tribute). I really never thought ol' girl would put such a bad taste in my mouth, but ...here we are. And it's not just Apple's post - it's Sheila's actions. Ya notice her ass was right up there in the middle of Paisley Park for his memorial service. Sure ain't seen her be invited anywhere else, though. Revolution gigs? NPG gigs? I mean, maybe I missed it. Anyone? Anyone?

Just as a footnote: I think Michael B. was the baddest drummer Prince ever had. Just my two cents.

well I will agree with you more on all those points, there was no mention of her at revolution or NPG gigs, and I have seen both a few times, Prince obviously comes up, but also Morris Day comes up a lot in the Revolution stories and other members of the time but I swear I never hear a Shelia story? I have not heard one from anyone but herself. I know people feel like NPG and revolution and others have just been riding his death but I don't see it with them, trust me I was debating going to see either knowing others would be signing in princes place, but both have tailored their shows in different ways where it's like I'm hanging listening and being around people that loved prince. I get it Shelia did too, but I get a different vibe from her "tributes" it's almost like it's about "me" showing "my" love for him and you all didn't love him like I did because he told me so., it's a lot of pettiness, which is why I could listen to Andy allo tell prince stories all day but Shelia no way.

That's exactly how I feel about the news media and social media, and it's true, people do seem programmed to believe any and everything the media and social media puts out there for what they want them to believe. I see the effects that Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and news sources have on the minds of people, and it feels like our minds are not our own, and we are being led around like blind sheep being led to a slaughter, just trusting and believing everything the media and social media wants us to.....so scary!

I mean, really what is she saying happened to suddenly agree or care or publiclly out Sheila's sexuality? They don't like how she does business and think she's a scammer, liar so suddenly she's not feminine enough? It's just a weird insult.

Cat talks about her, I think Jill brings her up in passing, and to the extent there's any accuracy, Sheila comes up in a lot of the groupie stories circulating online. The Revolution, Leeds, Susannah, The Time...I think he tried keeping them separate off stage.

Brenda is the surprising one. She walked away from the Prince world, and comes off really sweet in interviews. Jill and Apps seem to be the ones with a reputation for being nice that are always jumping into these catfights. The bottom line is you can't have a rotating harem, tie it to work and fame, and money, and not have it blow up when they're getting petty enough to care over who baked the cake and when. I guess I get why Leroy would be annoyed, but to say something publically? Absurd.

That "HeShe" comment isn't okay either way. It's out of left field, not to mention, it doesn't really align with some other gossip involving Sheila anyway.

Very good point.Prince had all these women, playing with their emotions, mixing business with pleasure.....it's created alot of hurt feelings, jealousy and bitterness. We're seeing that now smile

Did it ever occur to him that maybe he made the original lemon cakes, Prince liked them, and then Sheila made one for him later, and she didn't necessarily know that he started eating them because of Roy?

She's talking about those emails for how long now? If she's telling the truth she should go to the right people with it, not post it on social media. She also doesn't need a book to reveal it, and then complain about people filling their pockets with prince's name when she's about to do the same with a book.

The most troubling thing about this, is the line about Shelia.not wanting the Revolution in the Grammy tribute? WTF? How is that possible isn't Wendy related to someone that is or was on the board of the whole damn organization? How is Shelia even allowed to do this? Also to be honest if they wanted to ask someone close to Prince ask Morris Hayes who was with him longer than anyone ever case closed, and he's not even invited, that's BS.

Wendy's father was at one point the President of Naras, the Academy that awards the Grammy's. That was in 1985 when they appeare on the Grammy's (he introduced them).

.

.

Sheila not wanting them on the tribute is hearsay by LeRoy who clearly has an axe to grind.

.

.

Mr. Hayes, while talented, was asically a hired touring musician. He was not a collaborator/co-creator/co-headliner the way Sheila, Wendy, Lisa and even Jill were.

I beg to differ on Morris Hayes he was doing a lot more than just playing on tracks. He actually taught prince a lot of keyboard and ways he could incorporate sounds into his music, there were things prince had never heard come out of his playing which is why he kept him. Morris was also the one most chose to lead the Minneapolis tribute they wanted him to direct the show this was the one with Judith Hill and others. Because of that band prince had I think Morris did a lot more then we give credit for.

In her mind it’s not the same thing because she has said in the past that her book was in the works BEFORE Prince died. She has alluded that Prince “encouraged” her to write and release her memoir at the same time as his. Allegedly he gave her name of publishing company contacts or something like that

As far as the emails it’s interesting because the death investigation case file contained emails, and email addresses of people Prince had contact with in the days and months before he passed. They did find a email correspondence from Phaedra pertaining to money he wired to A6 a few days before his death.
